Instructions: This is a massive, awkward file. The index is next to useless. Please use the find function in your system to search for names. Remember that names are seldom spelled the same way twice. Also - my transcription is the best I could do - some files, often marked HTR, were almost impossible to make out. Keep in mind that I read these equities for my own research - thus, I am more interested in some times, places and families than others. I have tried to leave hints in all cases that might lead you to discoveries. I was moving very quickly - and there are typos in this record. I make no guarantees of accuracy or completeness. The information is not complete - I only mean to give you help, not do the research for you. You have to read the cases yourself. I tried to include every major name in each file, but could not include all names - names of neighbors, commissioners, etc. are not all listed. Search for parts of names, for different spellings, for associated names. You could actually read the whole deal yourself - it would take you much less time than it took me. Caveat: just because I have not listed the person you are looking for, does not mean they are not actually in the files somewhere. That said, I must tell you that some files had very little in them at all. Read your files: you will find tiny bits of significant things that would have escaped me, not knowing the history of your people. Some files are like gold.----Good luck.
